The mission of the IRON Advisory Board for IRON Sharpens IRON Council is to promote equity, inclusivity, and fairness within the broader community. Goals:

  • Inclusivity and Representation: Promote diverse representation within IRON Sharpens IRON Council, ensuring that decision-making bodies, leadership positions, and programs reflect the rich tapestry of our community. Advocate for inclusive policies and practices that embrace individuals from all racial, ethnic, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Education and Awareness: Foster a culture of education and awareness by providing resources, workshops, and training sessions that enhance understanding of social justice issues. Encourage ongoing learning and dialogue to address unconscious biases and promote empathy and allyship among our members and the wider community.
